Katz Korin Cunningham Co-Founding Shareholder Norris Cunningham has been accepted to the prestigious IADC.
Norris Cunningham, a co-founding shareholder of Katz Korin Cunningham, was accepted as a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC). The IADC is the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests. Founded in 1920, the IADC’s members hail from six continents, more than 50 countries and territories, and all 50 U.S. states. The core purposes of the IADC are to enhance the development of skills, promote professionalism and diversity, and facilitate camaraderie among its members, their clients, as well as the broader civil justice community.
Mr. Cunningham leads the firm’s Health Care Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in health-care dispute resolution including trial practice, regulatory advocacy, commercial litigation and arbitration. Mr. Cunningham has been admitted pro hac vice in fifteen states. He has tried and arbitrated numerous long-term care, medical malpractice, and commercial cases throughout the nation. Mr. Cunningham has extensive experience representing health care providers before governmental agencies including the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services as well as state regulatory agencies in sixteen states. He has provided legal advice and oversight on claims management and claims handling processes for large, self-insured health care providers. He is an arbitrator certified by the American Arbitration Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
