Ronnie Katz, a co-founding shareholder with Katz Korin Cunningham, has been recognized as a Distinguished Barrister honoree and Taylor Bonacorsi, a partner with Katz Korin Cunningham, has been recognized as an Up & Coming Lawyer honoree by The Indiana Lawyer in their 2021 Leadership in Law class.

Ronnie leads the firm’s tax, estate, and business succession planning practices. Ronnie also remains actively involved in representing and advising clients involved in real estate development in the State of Indiana. When asked about his thoughts on receiving the “Distinguished Barrister” honor Ronnie commented, “I appreciate the recognition by my peers in the profession. Most importantly, it is a recognition to the team of people I work with at Katz Korin Cunningham that are part of serving our clients and community.”

This is just one of many awards that Katz has received over the years including U.S. News Best Lawyers in America for 2022 in the areas of: Business Organizations (including LLCs and Partnerships), Real Estate Law, and Trusts and Estates. Ronnie has also been recognized by the Indianapolis Bar Foundation, the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention & Prevention, the Indiana Bar Foundation, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis, among others.

Taylor Bonacorsi is a member of the Katz Korin Cunningham Health Care practice group with a focus on medical malpractice litigation. As an experienced attorney, she is devoted to providing efficient legal services to minimize client exposure and maximize client objectives. She has represented clients in both state and federal court in a variety of matters ranging from professional negligence to pharmaceutical liability. She graduated cum laude from DePaul University College of Law in 2012.

“I am very honored to have been chosen as an Up and Coming Lawyer,” says Bonacorsi. “Many days in the legal profession, like many careers, are quite trying, and receiving an acknowledgment for your dedication to your craft is very fulfilling. It was an inspiring morning watching accomplished attorneys, including our own Ronnie Katz, get recognized for their impressive legal careers and devotion to the practice of law. It’s truly a privilege to be included in such great company.”

Of Taylor and Ronnie’s most recent recognition, Michael Gabovitch, Managing Partner, says “It’s always very gratifying when one of our attorneys receives public recognition for the skills and commitment to the practice of law that we have the good fortune of experiencing every day, but to have two of our attorneys recognized, that is doubly gratifying. Both Taylor and Ronnie have earned universal respect and admiration from their colleagues here at Katz Korin Cunningham and the legal community at large and no one is more deserving of this recognition.”

In addition to being honored in Leadership in Law, Taylor has been named U.S. News Best Lawyers in America "Ones to Watch" 2022 for Health Care Law.

Leadership in Law recognizes “30 men and women who represent the strength and the future of Indiana’s legal profession.” Additionally, this year, they recognized two Lifetime Achievement Award Honorees and five Legal Support Stars.
