Angela M. Agustin Fox is shareholder at Katz Korin Cunningham, P.C. She works closely with post-acute health care providers, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, home health companies and hospice. She regularly consults on matters of litigation, risk management, arbitration and regulatory matters involving both state and federal agencies.
Angela is a trial lawyer with criminal and civil experience, having successfully prosecuted and defended numerous cases before state and federal courts in Indiana, Ohio and Kansas. In addition to litigation, Angela advises and assists post-acute clients with regulatory survey compliance; investigations by the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit and/or the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services; and implementation of risk avoidance strategies. She is a frequent speaker on defending allegations of nursing home abuse as well as enforcing arbitration agreements, and has given regional and national presentations on post-acute litigation, regulatory matters, telemedicine and trial strategy for the Defense Research Institute, the National Business Institute and the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana. Angela is admitted to practice in both Indiana and Kansas.
